Contamination & Corrosion Control
Dirt, salts, hydrocarbons and biological growth accumulate on aircraft, tractors and industrial equipment. Left in place, these contaminants trap moisture and create electrolytic environments that accelerate corrosion. Even minor residues from cleaning chemicals can interact with paint, leading to oxidation, discoloration and premature coating failure.
Controlling contamination starts with proper wash routines: rinse heavy debris, apply neutral chemistry, gently agitate and thoroughly rinse away residues. After washing, applying sacrificial protection (like spray sealants or ceramic coatings) creates a barrier against contaminants. Regular inspections detect early signs of corrosion so corrective action can be taken before structural integrity or aesthetics are compromised.
